SAMURAI BLADES is a simulation of tactical and hand-to-hand combats set in medieval Japan. The game is fully compatible with the other games of the series, even though from a pure historical standpoint, ninjas and Ronins never met Western Knights.

> 1 historical background booklet, with a guide to the playing pieces;

The Counters

   
The playing pieces include samurais, ninjas, ashigarus, Monks and peasants. No two characters are alike, each has his own name, costume and combat values, bringing the period faithfully to life. 
Note: Unlike the original game, these counters have adopted the CROISADES format (higher speed for horses, defense armor and direction arrow for horses).
